For many hospice patients, their four-legged kid is a huge source of comfort and companionship. Through our Gifted Wishes, we have helped provide medical care and financial support for the beloved pets of hospice patients. Now with our new partnership with The Pixie Project and your monthly recurring donation, we will be able to help more families stay together!
For many patients in hospice care, the support of their beloved pet is a lifeline: one they cannot risk losing. Working with the Pixie Project, a nonprofit pet rescue, we are able to provide more surgeries, medications, spay and neuter, shots, flea meds, dental care, and assessment for placement, if needed. The Pixie Project is a non-profit animal adoption center and rescue which offers a variety of veterinarian services for homeless and low-income people. YOU can share the love and help hospice patients keep their pets, by donating to our Gifted Wishes program. You can sign up for a recurring monthly donation, or make a one-time donation, by clicking on the link below. Learn more about the work of the Pixie Project HERE. |

Meet Raven: Our First Pixie Project Success!
Raven, a beloved companion of a patient in hospice, required surgery for a luxating patella.
"Raven is more than a pet. She’s a member of our family!" We were thrilled to be able to partner with The Pixie Project to secure the medical care and surgery Raven needed so that she could stay in the comfort of the arms that have always loved her. With your support of our Gifted Wishes program, we can provide more needed surgeries, spay and neuter, medications, shots, flea meds, dental care, and assessment for placement, if needed. |
